I've always viewed my role in IT as empowering the business to meet community needs. We manage strategic IT projects end to end at Agile Portfolio Delivery team with special focus on business alignment at every stage and value realisation.

As an example, one of our major ongoing business projects involves developing a telematics system for our waste services team. To ensure its effectiveness, user adoption and value delivery, my team have been accompanying drivers on waste runs to tailor the solution to their requirements and its usage. My approach to agile delivery emphasizes visibility and transparency, aiming to be true business partners and ensuring our colleagues feel supported throughout the journey.

I joined Sutherland Shire Council four years ago, following experiences in telcos and manufacturing industry in Australia and Dubai. I was attracted to the meaningful nature of the work here, the opportunity to impact community outcomes, and the balance between professional and personal life.

I am fortunate to have a fantastic leadership team and specially my manager who supports my personal growth. I deeply respect her perspective, experience, and calm nature. Working with supportive colleagues who bring joy to each day is truly rewarding. We take pride in our work knowing it contributes to both the organisation and the community at large.
