We're renewing the playground at Australia Road Bushland Reserve.

Project start: Construction will start in August 2024

Project scope

We will replace the existing playground with new modern equipment.
The work will include:

  • Relocate new playground equipment including climbing net, slide, swings and spinner.
  • Mulch softfall material in play area
  • New access path and seating
  • Landscaping

Community Engagement

Council proposed two new alternative locations within the Reserve for the renewed playground.  Find the consultation results here.

Work hours

Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.30pm, and occasional Saturday work between 8.00am and 1.00pm.

No work will take place on public holidays.
