Expected Practical Completion – June 2025 (weather permitting)

Impacts during construction

Works shall not have any impact on normal field activities during the construction period.  While parts of the site may occasionally be closed to the public, most of the site will remain open.

Existing timber light poles will only be made redundant and removed off-site after the commissioning of new light poles.

We appreciate the support and collaboration of our sports clubs and local user groups during this process.

We will keep you updated as the work progresses and thank you for your patience.

Frequently Asked Questions

No trees will be removed as part of the planned work for this project however, we will try to plant additional trees in suitable locations at this site, if possible.

The new LED floodlighting will produce sufficient light across the playing fields to meet current standards and greatly reduce impacts on adjoining residential areas and the environment.

The lighting within the access road and carpark will be a modern, energy-saving lighting system that provides security to park users.
