We manage over $3 billion in assets, providing essential services and facilities to the community. Those services and facilities include local roads, car parks, community buildings, playgrounds, libraries, footpaths, cycleways, stormwater pipes and drains, sporting facilities, leisure centres, and childcare centres.
Our Strategic Assets Team regularly reviews its program to renew and upgrade existing assets, or create/build new assets. We update that information every year in our Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
When we plan, we consider how every project will support our Community Strategic Plan, including our Resourcing Strategy (Asset Management Strategy and Long-Term Financial Plan), Delivery Program, relevant Council resolutions, adopted Informing Strategies and Action Plans, and confirmed grants and contributions.
