Local business operators have the opportunity to get an entrepreneurial edge with a few tips from some of the country’s leading business experts, as part of Sutherland Shire Council’s 2024 Business Summit.

The popular annual event is taking on a new and expanded format this year, allowing more local business operators to take part than ever before. Attendees will be offered a host of insights that will help aspiring business people get established and assist established players to get ahead, with guest speakers set to provide key insights and tools to excel in an ever-evolving business landscape.

Sutherland Shire Mayor, Councillor Carmelo Pesce said the annual Business Summit was aimed to providing local business operators access to the tools they need to not just survive but thrive in a competitive business environment.

“There are so many talented, dedicated people operating businesses here in the Sutherland Shire, and with the right support we hope these incredible professionals can turn their passion into sustained business success,” Mayor Pesce said.

“As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges that come with running a business, which is why I’m so keen to see local business people get involved in this year’s event to connect with other local business operators and learn all the tips and tricks essential for success.”

This year’s event, themed ‘Innovate, Motivate and Communicate’, is open to business leaders, their teams, entrepreneurs, startups, side hustlers, and anyone eager to transform ideas into results.
