It’s never too early to get hooked on knitting! These school holidays kids are invited to the Sylvania Library to learn the basics of knitting. $5 per person.
School Holidays
Hosted by Sutherland Shire Libraries and the Sylvania Knitting Group, children will knit a bookmark, while learning how to master a basic garter stitch and techniques such as casting on and off.
Each child will be given a welcome pack on arrival to use in the workshop, with knitting needles, yarn and detailed instructions – which they can take home with them to continue the fun!
Please be aware of the following:
- Bookings are required (each child needs a ticket)
- Suitable for ages 8 to 12 years
- All knitting supplies will be provided
