Beginning in Senegal this story follows teenage cousins Seydou and Moussa who leave Dakar on an odyssey to reach Italy. A glimpse into the hardships faced by immigrants who risk their lives hoping for a better future. Italian director Matteo Garrons’ deeply humanitarian film shows the human side of trans-Mediterranean immigration.
