From the cosmic, the metaphysical to the microscopic, peering into the distant realms of our world often lends itself to confusion, feelings of insignificance and existential quandaries. Let us instead be in awe of the overwhelming beauty of the patterns woven in space and time and celebrate the achievements of science and mathematics in opening our eyes to the further reaches of this fabric.
My artmaking practice has been influenced by the study and interpretation of the following artists: MC Escher; Danail Obreschkow, Cosmic Eye; William Chyr, Manifold Garden [video game]; Orteil, Nested [online game].
