My body of work is underpinned by the concept of time. Architecture has developed over time into a means of personal expression, rather than a construction method. Postmodernism has further blurred the lines between architecture and art. My work focuses on the use of curvilinear forms, paying homage to contemporary architectural styles with their roots in the past.
My intent was to create a relationship between my work and its surroundings, using natural elements to alter its form and represent balance and cohesion. I took inspiration from deconstructivism and neo-futuristic styles to accentuate the role of postmodernism within contemporary architecture.
