Hazelhurst offers tailored excursions for both Primary and Secondary schools that aim to provide impactful learning opportunities for students and skills development for teachers set against a background of our dynamic exhibition program.

Students will be inspired to reflect upon themes in exhibitions and our historic environment and gardens and realise works in response. These activities can be tailored to reflect the nature of the exhibition or the requirements of the class across sculpture, assemblage, ceramics, painting, and drawing.

Teachers will also learn practical art making skills from our artist educators that they will be able to replicate in the classroom.

Please reach out to our Education team at hazelhurst@ssc.nsw.gov.au to discuss your next excursion or submit your enquiry via our booking form below.

We can accommodate up to 62 students per excursion booking, and all visits including self-directed visits require a booking.
