Susanna Strati is a visual artist whose work combines jewellery, sculpture and installation. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in Europe and Asia.
Susanna is an Alumna of UNSW Art & Design. She has received awards and residencies, including an Australia Council Residency at the British School in Rome and an Australia Council research grant for independent study in central and southern Italy.
She has been a finalist in several exhibitions, including the Paramor Prize: ART + INNOVATION (where she was Winner of the Mayoral Award), Hidden Rookwood Cemetery Sculpture Walk (2012, 2014, 2015), The Blake Prize (2008, 2013), The David Harold Tribe Sculpture Award (Contemporary Art Sculpture 2017), Fishers Ghost Art Award (2008, 2017), Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize (2012, 2013, 2016), The Deakin University Contemporary Small Sculpture Award (2018), The Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize (2018), and the Contemporary Wearables Biennial Jewellery Award & Exhibition (2019, 2023). In 2023, Susanna was also the winner of 2nd prize in the Urunga Small Sculpture Prize.
Susanna teaches Jewlery at Hazelhurst.
