Presented by Georges Riverkeeper and Sutherland Shire Libraries, this event is part of the global Plastic Free July movement, dedicated to combating plastic pollution and fostering cleaner streets, waterways and communities.
Louise Williams is a Walkley-award-winning journalist and writer. She co-authored ABC TV’s War on Waste Impact Report and is co-founder of the Baringa Bush Community Garden.
Georges Riverkeeper works with eight member councils, including Sutherland Shire Council, undertaking activities to guide best practice management to protect natural resources and improve liveability along the Georges River.
