Join us for an engaging session on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) and Community Capacity Building. Enjoy a light morning tea and lunch while you learn!
What You'll Learn
Asset Based Community Development (ABCD):
Discover how communities can drive their own development by identifying and mobilising existing, often unrecognised assets. Learn how to link micro-assets to the macro-environment, build relationships, and create opportunities for local social improvement and economic development. You'll leave with practical tools to help communities discover and leverage their strengths.
Capacity Building:
Designed for community groups and charities, this workshop offers practical, easy-to-use information and resources to help your NGO, NFP, or community organisation become more sustainable and innovative. Learn effective ways to work with communities, create partnerships, instigate collaboration, build capacity within your organisation, and plan for the future.
Who should attend:
This workshop is perfect for community organisations aiming to become more self-sufficient and sustainable. It's also ideal for anyone looking to strengthen their grant applications.
