The Engadine Skate Park is one of the many facilities provided at Cooper Street Reserve.  The previous, small skate facility has been completely re-imagined into a new 'active youth precinct' consisting of:

  • a street-skate style park with a variety of ramps
  • a fun pump track
  • parkour facilities and fitness equipment area
  • basketball half-court
  • with bicycle repair unit, bike racks and shade structures.

The park is in close proximity to Engadine train station, buses and the Shopping Centre.  Other facilities in the park include public toilets, seating and water-fill stations and it is close to an all-abilities playground, and basketball half-courts.

Opening hours are from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

New lighting installed around the Active Precinct allows skaters to enjoy the space until 9pm.  Lights on the skate park and pump track will dim to half strength at 8:45pm and then switch-off completely at 9pm. The path lighting in this precinct will remain on.

The active sports youth precinct and open space upgrade project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Sutherland Shire Council under the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program. The NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program is key to the NSW Government’s broader efforts to provide high-quality public open spaces across the state.
