Kalang Lang Reserve in Yowie Bay is a large open space popular with local families and close to local shops and the nearby boat ramp and pontoon in Wonga Road. The playground was upgraded in 2021 with new equipment, shade sails, picnic facilities, dinky track and synthetic and bark softfall.
Children can ride their bikes and scooters on the path around the playground, which doubles as a walking track. Synthetic softfall provides accessibility for wheelchairs.
New static bars fitness equipment has been installed in the Reserve for a variety of ages and fitness levels. There is also a fully accessible amenities block and accessible car parking.
With seating, water and bottle fill station, and lots of level grass, Kalang Lane Reserve is a perfect place to run around or enjoy a picnic or family gathering. The amenities block has been upgraded and is fully accessible.
This high quality local playground caters for families with children aged primarily from 2 to 12 years of age.
