This bushland reserve protects significant natural and cultural heritage aspects for the public to enjoy.
Limited parking is available at this site, which is accessed via the end of a narrow road.
A new elevated boardwalk has been constructed to safeguard our conservation values from the impacts of frequent activity and erosion. As you stroll gently toward the water's edge, you can read the educational signs (coming soon) about the littoral rainforest, the endangered Green Celtis beetle population (Menippus darcyi), and our cultural heritage while taking in the magnificent view of the river.
This area holds great importance for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, local residents, and our wider community.
