Burnum Burnum Sanctuary is a popular reserve with local residents and visitors.  The reserve includes a large playground, public amenities block, carpark and boating access to the waterways of the area via a double boat ramp fronting the beautiful Woronora River.  Cyclists will enjoy the bike racks and new path connection from the carpark through to Tom Evans Reserve Carpark in Bonnet Bay.

The shaded playground features innovative play equipment, including a junior and senior climbing tower with spiral tube slides, in-ground trampolines, a variety of swing options, carousel, cubbyhouse, balancing logs and activity panels, as well as a flying fox and climbing net. Open space provides room to run and play.  The in-ground trampolines and carousel are accessible, with additional accessibility provided by level paths and synthetic grass softfall to facilitate wheelchairs.

Facilities include picnic shelters, seating, BBQs and water refill station, making Burnum Burnum Sanctuary the perfect place to enjoy birthday parties and family gatherings.
