Thank you for your patience while we upgrade and improve Helena Street dog off-leash park, with works estimated to be completed in September 2023. Entry upgrade and small dog area have been completed. We are now upgrading the large dog area.

Helena Street Reserve is a fenced reserve with an off-leash area. The reserve is fenced and split into two sections so larger dogs can be separated from smaller dogs, if required.

Dogs allowed off-leash
- Dogs are permitted off-leash within the fenced enclosure from 4.30am to 10.30pm. Please respect neighbours and limit noise after 7.00pm
- Gates are locked from 10.30pm to 4.30am
- Please clean up after your dog using the bags and bins provided
- Dogs must be on a leash when entering and leaving the off-leash area
- Always maintain effective control of your dog
- Serious penalties apply if your dog rushes, menaces or attacks people or other animals.
Dogs that have been declared dangerous or menacing by Council or are a restricted breed are not permitted in the off-leash area. Failure to comply may result in fines or prosecution under the Companion Animals Act 1998.
