Sutherland Shire offers lots of inclusive sports and recreation programs for people with disabilities, their families and supporters.

AFL offers a number of programs, including Kickabillity and Auskick, to ensure people with disability have opportunities to participate in AFL.

Sutherland District Basketball Association holds wheelchair basketball development sessions at Sutherland Basketball Stadium.

Basketball NSW and Wheelchair Sports NSW offer a range of basketball wheelchair programs.

Cricket NSW All Abilities offers a range of programs for people with disability.

Sutherland Titans Football Club encourage children aged 5 to 18 with disabilities including Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and Autism spectrum disorder to get involved with football. The Titans provide the only program in NSW where players compete against children in mainstream football competitions. Sutherland Shire Football Association allocates teams to play against the Titans as part of their season.

The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks Rugby League offers modified forms of Rugby League for people with all types of physical disability.

Sydney Mixed Abilities Rugby Team (S.M.A.R.T.) Powerful Owls provide inclusive rugby opportunities for players of all abilities. The team has hosted monthly 'TRY! Rugby' training sessions at Old Bush Road Oval in Yarrawarrah and competed in games from December to July.

Sutherland Shire Netball Association run an all abilities netball program. This provides netball skills and team involvement to young men and women with disability.

Special Olympics Sydney South Club provides weekly sports training and regular competition for people with an intellectual disability.

Rainbow Club provides swimming lessons for children with disability aged 3 to 18. Lessons operate during school terms at Sutherland Leisure Centre.
