Australia Day Concerts- frequently asked questions

Parking is limited in and around Cronulla. We recommend concert goers travel to the event by public transport. Sydney trains will be running between Sutherland and Cronulla every 15 minutes.  From Cronulla Train Station it is a short flat walk to the event area.

There is a kiss and ride zone at the corner of Gerrale Street and Laycock Ave, Cronulla, from 6am to 11pm on 26 January.

To be safe and have an enjoyable time at our Australia day concerts here’s a list of things we recommend you bring to either event:

• Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
• Water
• Food and non-alcoholic beverages – There may be limited food suppliers at Cronulla Park on the day.  Some local businesses may not be open due to the public holiday.
• Picnic blanket or low folding chairs
• Camera to capture those special moments.

• Pets (guide dogs and service dogs are welcome)
• Beach tents or cabanas
• Glass
• Alcohol

All members of the community are invited to attend the events. If you need wheelchair or special access, please contact our team.

This is an alcohol-free event. Alcohol is not permitted on Cronulla Beach. Water bubblers are available on-site.

Program is subject to change. In the case of inclement weather or unsafe conditions, that would impact the safe delivery of events we regret that the program may be changed. Changes to the program will be advised by our social media channels Facebook,  Instagram, Twitter,

Sutherland Shire Council advises that the 2025 Australia Day celebrations at Cronulla Beach will end with a 15-minute fireworks finale from 9pm. Please take measures to prepare your family and pets for loud firework noises during this time.

On the day, lost children, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, lost property and other information will be in the information tent set up beside the main stage.
