Local residents can now enjoy improved access to some of the Sutherland Shire’s most spectacular waterways, with the recent opening of a new small craft launch facility providing safe access for kayakers, rowers and paddlers looking to explore stunning Port Hacking.
The new launching ramp provides better access to the water and improved safety for users of small craft such as kayaks, canoes and surf skis.
This project is part of a program of works to upgrade several boat launching ramps throughout the Sutherland Shire and was in response to community feedback for improved kayak launching access.
On street parking is available at this small foreshore reserve.
