We provide grants to assist with the conservation of heritage buildings and original publications about the heritage and history of Sutherland Shire.
- Building Program: Apply from a total pool of $30,000 for a grant to assist restoration projects for heritage buildings in Sutherland Shire; (grants issued on a dollar-for-dollar basis).
- Publication Program: Apply from a pool of $5,000 to assist publishing eligible work about Sutherland Shire’s heritage or history.
2024-2025 Heritage Grants are now closed.

Heritage Building Grants are drawn from a shared pool of $30,000 and are provided to successful applicants on a dollar-for-dollar basis.
Heritage Publication Grants may be awarded up to $5,000.
Who is eligible for a Heritage Grant?
Building Grants: Owners of heritage buildings listed in Schedule 5 of the Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2015.
