Casual leasing
Who can apply?
- Sutherland Shire-based community groups, charities or not-for-profit organisations fundraising for a registered charity.
- Sutherland Shire-based schools or sporting clubs.
- Government organisations undertaking community consultation (separate fee applies).
- Casual leasing and Street Stall applications are for day bookings only, with a maximum of three bookings per group each year.
What activities are permitted?
Non-commercial activities, including raffles, cake stalls and collecting donations. If you are selling food, you must follow NSW Food Authority Guidelines.
You can hand out flyers or brochures at your stall, but you must stay within one metre of your site and you cannot approach people.

- Ensure you have evidence of current public liability insurance cover with Sutherland Shire Council listed as an interested party to the amount of $20 million.
- For casual leasing outside of Cronulla, please speak with the business you wish to hold your stall in front of.
- To book a casual lease site please go to our booking portal and register an account prior to booking.
Product sampling

Business traders.

Distribution of trial products only.
