Public swimming and spa pools
All public swimming pools and spa pools must be registered with us under the Public Health Regulation 2012.
What is a ‘public’ pool?
A public pool is any swimming pool or spa pool to which the public is admitted, including at a club, workplace, school, hospital, hotel or holiday unit. This also includes pools at private residences that are used for commercial purposes.
How do I notify Council?
Contact our Environmental Health Unit on 02 9710 0333 to register a public pool.
