12-month trial - starting late May 2024

We're placing a limited number of public recycling bins, with distinctive yellow lids, throughout Sutherland Shire. This is for a 12-month trial.

Bins will first be placed in Engadine, Gymea, Sutherland, Sylvania and Woolooware.

We will audit the bins regularly to check for contamination rates i.e. items incorrectly placed in these bins. Changes may be made throughout the trial based on audit results.

All bins have a sign to show what you can and can't place in them. We encourage you to check before putting items in the bin.

Please do not place business or household waste in these bins.
