Sutherland Shire residents are entitled to two pre-booked Council clean-ups each financial year, which are allocated to the property. Council clean-ups must be booked either by an eligible resident or by the strata or body corporate for large complexes.

This is a popular service and it's best to plan ahead. During peak periods, wait times can be more than eight weeks.

All valid bookings receive a booking reference number.  Contact us to confirm your booking if you haven't received a reference number.

You can cancel or re-book your clean up, up to 7 days prior to your collection date. If you cancel or re-book within this time, you will still lose one of your two annual clean ups.

Ensure items you don't want collected are not left on the kerbside to avoid having them accidentally taken by collectors or stolen by opportunistic criminals.

To cancel or change your clean-up

  • Enter your address into the Clean up booking form – this will show your completed and current bookings.
  • Press the cancel button, enter your booking number and select 'Confirm'. You'll see that your booking is cancelled.
  • To change the date, create a new booking.
